It checks structure (column order, required cells, number and date cells, the template’s pick lists), not whether the wages themselves are correct.
Do you store my file?
No. The file is validated in your session and never stored. There is no signup and no account required to use the validator.
Does Illinois CTP need the full SSN?
No — the Illinois CTP uses the last four digits of the SSN only, unlike California’s eCPR or Washington’s L&I filing, which require the full number.
